We're thrilled to share that Figured is a finalist in the New Zealand Hi Tech Awards, Start Up of the Year category for 2016.

The NZ Hi Tech Awards celebrate New Zealand’s most successful high-tech companies and highest achieving individuals, and it's an honour for Figured to be nominated as part of this year's event.

At Figured, we're passionate about improving the profitability of the agri sector in New Zealand. The primary sector represents 78% of GDP for the country, so if we can use technology to help lift profitability even by just 5%, then that has a huge impact not just on farming businesses and our rural communities, but the country's economy as a whole.

To do this we have an built an incredible team with the ideal blend of technology expertise, accounting knowledge and on-farm experience, which enables us to deliver a world class tech solution straight to the farm gate. By partnering with innovative companies in the sector, including Xero and leading banks ASB and BNZ, we can bring the benefits of realtime financial data into meaningful farm language - which is a game changer for the sector.

We're now on the countdown to the gala awards dinner on 20 May, and we're excited to stand as finalists alongside other impressive Kiwi tech companies. To be recognised as a company that is contributing to the success of the New Zealand tech sector in the global marketplace is something that we are really proud of as a team.
