The world's largest agri-financial management platform is embedding AI into the tools advisers and farmers use every day, with more capability in development.
Auckland, New Zealand, 4th May 2026
Figured, the global leader in agricultural financial management software, today announced a series of AI-driven capabilities now live across its platform, alongside a pipeline of agent-based solutions that will change how farm financial planning operates.
Figured serves accounting firms and farmers across New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Its platform sits at the centre of farm financial management, combining financial, production, and physical farm data in a way that general-purpose tools simply weren't built for.
The AI capabilities now live in Figured include:
- Auto Analyst, which sits alongside the Figured Reporting Studio suite of custom reports, charts, and farm-specific KPIs to form a complete reporting environment. Reporting Studio lets advisers build tailored reports combining financial and production data, with customisable layouts, charts, and firm and farm level KPIs. Auto Analyst adds the AI layer by reading the underlying data and generating written commentary that explains what the numbers mean, updating automatically as actuals change. It brings meaning and context to the numbers, so reports deliver understanding, not just data and metrics.
- AI-powered document processing, which reads farm financial documents and converts them into structured data automatically, including kill sheet automation which pulls livestock invoices from meat processors and reconciles them into Figured without complex manual entry.
- Benchmarking that surfaces comparative performance across the platform's dataset.
In development for 2026, Figured's Auto Planner brings purpose-built AI agents to the full planning and forecasting workflow. Annual plans that currently take days of adviser time will be produced in a fraction of that, with automated pre-checks, live market data informing assumptions, and accounting rigour preserved in the process. Farmers and advisers can model scenarios such as pricing shifts, input cost changes, production variations and stress-test plans against alternative futures efficiently and easily. Throughout, assumptions remain visible and editable, with the farmer or adviser in full control of the final output.
Dave Dodds, CEO of Figured, said:
"Agriculture is a complex, data-rich industry, and the firms advising farmers are sitting on more useful information than they've ever had time to act on. At the same time, farmers themselves deserve faster, clearer visibility into how their business is actually performing in time to act on it. We've spent over a decade building the data foundation that makes meaningful AI possible in this sector. What we're releasing now is that potential starting to be realised: tools that reduce the time spent on data and process, giving advisers more room to do the job they're there to do, and giving farmers better insight into their own operations. The opportunity is to raise the standard of farm financial management across the board."
Looking further ahead, Figured is building toward a future where its agricultural intelligence is accessible directly from the AI platforms people already use. Figured's domain expertise, the rules, relationships, and reasoning built up across more than a decade of agricultural financial management, is being encoded into a suite of specialised agents. Those agents are designed to work alongside general-purpose AI, contributing the deep farm financial domain knowledge that broad large language models lack. The result is AI that can reason powerfully across any context, grounded by knowledge specific to agriculture. Figured's intelligence travels with the adviser and farmer, wherever they're working.
