Scott Kennedy is a man with a couple of notable accolades to his name. The first being that earlier this month he became the first Figured Certified Partner in the UK. The second - he’s the brains behind a world record attempt at gettingthe most people dressed in Peter Pan outfitsin Kirriemuir, the birthplace of Peter Pan author, JM Barrie… But that’s a story for another day.

For our launch in the UK we are forming a community of Partners who share our vision that farmers should have better information and better support when making decisions on the farm.

The New Zealand team has just returned from a huge week at the National Fieldays event at Mystery Creek, Waikato. With close to 134,000 attendees over four days and 1000 exhibitors, this annual event is not just a great opportunity to chat with farmers about using Figured and Xero, but also to get insight into the current mood of the industry through the conversations that we have on stand, and the industry leaders that we have the chance to hear from.

The biggest event on New Zealand’s farming calendar is here next month. Mystery Creek Fieldays runs from 13-16 June 2018, and we’re excited to once again be on site with Xero. As a principal sponsor of the event, Xero are continuing to demonstrate their commitment to supporting the rural sector, and we’re proud to be alongside them to help deliver the best financial management solution for New Zealand's farmers.

The theme for Fieldays this year was ‘leading change’. Leading change is about driving prosperity in New Zealand’s primary sector, and in fact we see that our own vision aligns nicely with the three pillars of this theme - education, innovation and internationalisation. The importance of communication and collaboration around real time financial data continues to resonate with Australian banks, and we are excited to announce a partnership with leaders in the Australian agri-lending space, National Australia Bank (NAB).
