Figured receives a planned ‘read only’ forecast from Agworld which maintains Agworld as the single source of truth for the agronomy plan. Actual costs are updated in Figured from Xero as transactions happen, ie. invoices are paid. Purchases can be stored in a product warehouse in Figured, this then enables actual costs of products and operations to be allocated to the crop season/fields in Figured. You can read more about Figured’s Crop Season trackers here and about the Allocation tool here.
Figured’s ‘Copy to Actual’ on a forecast invoice is also a useful tool. Forecast costs created via the Agworld integration are read-only, but can be copied to an actual and then edited as required before posting to Xero as an invoice ready to be paid.
The exciting thing about the integration is we have all of the building blocks in place now to start adding more value in the future. The next phases of development are likely to link actual activities from Agworld to the actual costs which come through Xero. This would also enable us to pass back a more accurate price per unit costs to the agronomy plan in Agworld.
