It's been a beautiful summer in the UK, we hope everyone has had an opportunity to take a little break in the sun! It’s been a while since our last update pre launch. Now that we’re live in the UK you’ll be able to keep an eye on our progress here as we publish the Figured Quarterly.
Figured Official UK Launch
It feels like ages ago since our great launch event on the 28th June at our London base, Rise in Shoreditch. This was attended by our fantastic partners, including Kite Consulting, Dodd & Co and EQ. Also attending was press from Farmers Guardian and AccountingWeb, Barclays agri team, Xero account team and leadership.
The event was set up to reflect how Figured is positioning in the market, namely that we are playing a role in supporting the accounting and agri sectors to develop through technology. CEO Dave Dodds set out our vision, and Sean Rickard, ex-NFU economist, led a discussion on the challenges of Brexit and technology adoption requirement for farming. Edward Berks, Director of Ecosystem at Xero, also set out their ambition and how they working with Figured in the UK..
The event was a great success, what was most inspiring was seeing what a great community we have around Figured who share our vision.

Product Development - BCMS + Arable
Post the launch we’ve been busy focussing on what Product Development comes next!
BCMS
Integration with BCMS has been at the top of our list post the Beta. The team are currently re-working the way we integrate with 3rd parties to make it easier to get set-up.
To deliver value faster we’re splitting the BCMS into 2 releases. The first release will be a read only version of the Stock on Hand report directly from CTS online -> with Xero Con on the way we’re aiming to release this functionality for November!
Arable
With our Dairy and Livestock functionality now Live our next focus is getting a MVP for our Arable customers. We’ll be kicking off an Arable Beta with plans to engage with one of our key partners, Scrutton Bland, in the early stages to confirm the initial requirements are being met.
We have a large chunk of Arable functionality to be released in October - post this release we’ll be opening the Beta to a larger range of Beta partners for feedback to shape the product - If you’re keen to get involved please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Thats all for now, but as always feel free to contact myself, Dow or James to hear more about Figured and how we see the future of agri financial management in the UK.
