Farm Manager connects farm plans to live production and financial data, so your farm team can build better budgets, respond to change, and make more confident decisions all season long.
The world's largest farm financial management platform
There's a reason accounting firms across the US, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK run their farming clients through Figured. More than 35,000 farms trust the platform — and the advisors who use it every day know exactly why.
Most advisory relationships in US farming are built around the compliance calendar. It's valuable work, but farming doesn't work to the tax season. Decisions come up throughout the year, and by the time the next scheduled touchpoint arrives, the window might have passed.
There's a gap between when farmers need live farm numbers for a decision, and when their accountant can get them together. General accounting software just wasn't designed to handle the volatility of agriculture, so farmers make decisions alone — with data that's months out of date.

Custom Reporting
Figured's advanced custom report builder, Reporting Studio, gives ag accountants full control over how farm performance is presented. Build branded layouts once at the organization level, then open them across every client and watch as live data populates automatically. With Auto Analyst, even the commentary writes itself.
It's never been easier to produce detailed, highly visual advisory reports, making this service scalable across your entire client base — reaching farmers who have never had this service from you before.

Collaboration

Change the date once and every view within Figured updates automatically, from the dashboard to the Planning Grid, plus all reports.
Generate a complete season summary for any crop, with income, costs, and closing inventory pulled together automatically from what's already tracked in Figured.
Track profit per acre, interest cover, and cash position live against your plan.
Set expenses as a percentage of income, per acre, or per stock unit, and Figured updates your forecasts automatically as production changes.
Run consolidated reports across multiple enterprises, entities, and complex farm ownership structures from one account.
Access every client farm from a single practice login, with no switching between accounts across your portfolio.

Build financial plans around livestock movements, trading decisions, and seasonal income, connected to the farm's actuals in real time. When you need an answer before week's end, the picture is current.

Figured brings together both sides of a mixed farming enterprise, building a single live financial picture that digs into the details.
Production trackers feed livestock movements and crop activity straight into the financial plan, which Figured then allocates by income, cost, and enterprise type. When it comes time for planning, reporting, or just checking in on the business, you can see both the performance of the farm as a whole and what each individual enterprise is contributing.

We're all spending money to try to make money, and that is definitely where Xero and Figured come in as a very integral tool for our business — so that we are constantly looking forward, not backwards.
I can almost remember to the day when we discovered Figured, and it was like — oh my gosh, this is it. It's just been so nice to get off the spreadsheets, get off the pen and paper, get off the napkins, and actually put some useful tools and information out there that you rely on and have confidence in.
We think Figured is a great tool for the financial management reporting side of things. It allows the opportunity for us to help clients establish a great structure around their financial reporting system that actually gives them meaningful information out the other end.

The short version: Farm Reporter is for actuals. Farm Manager is for planning.
Farm Reporter gives farm teams access to real-time financial reporting drawn from their accounting software, including income, expenses, production tracking, and year-end valuations. It's well-suited to farms where the main goal is accurate, current compliance reporting.
Farm Manager includes everything in Farm Reporter, plus live budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance reporting. It's the right choice when you want to move the relationship beyond compliance — building seasonal plans, modeling different pricing or stocking scenarios, and having more regular conversations about where the business is heading.
For most US accountants building an advisory practice, Farm Manager is where that shift happens. Farm Reporter is a solid starting point for clients not yet ready to engage at that level.
Only if you choose to. Farm Manager gives you full control over who sees your data — including whether to invite your bank or lender in as a read-only user.
For farmers, this means your bank can see your current position and forecasts without you having to prepare and send a report manually each time. For accountants, it means the bank is working from the same numbers you are, which typically makes bank conversations more straightforward.
Yes. Multi-Farm and Multi-Entity support let you separate or consolidate reporting across multiple farms, enterprises, and accounting files from a single account, so complex ownership structures don't add extra manual work.
For most organizations, getting started is relatively quick. Connecting your accounting software and creating the farm in Figured takes minutes, and our onboarding and Customer Success team can help you get your trackers configured correctly from there.
A clean, well-organized file can be producing useful reports the same day. If your file needs a bit of tidying up first, our team will help you get there.
No. Farm Manager works alongside QBO — and it requires QBO (or Xero) as the underlying accounting platform.
QBO handles the core accounting work, like invoices, bills, and bank reconciliation. Farm Manager pulls that financial data in and adds the ag layer on top: production tracking, seasonal planning, scenario modeling, and Reporting Studio. They work together.
If you're using QBO and want to add farm financial management and advisory capability, Farm Manager connects directly to your existing QBO account.
