Farm Reporter massively streamlines management and financial reporting for US ag firms, connecting live accounting data to whatβs happening on the farm β today.
The world's largest farm financial management platform
There's a reason accounting firms across the US, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK run their farming clients through Figured. More than 35,000 farms trust the platform β and the farm teams who use it every day know exactly why.
Ag financial reporting comes with a level of complexity that general accounting software wasn't built to handle. Acreage, yields, on-hand grain inventory, and financials all need to come together accurately before a report can go out the door.
For firms managing hundreds of farming clients, that can mean spreadsheets, manual reconciliations, lookup tables, and repeated work across every farm. The more clients you take on, the more time it takes to get the same work done.
But, some ag accounting firms are doing things differently. They're bringing ag-specific data and workflows together in one place, completing reports faster, standardizing how work is done across their client base, and spending less time on manual data wrangling.

Reporting Studio
Once the numbers are right, Reporting Studio helps you turn them into reporting that's useful, consistent, and built around the conversations you want to have with your clients.
Create custom reports, KPIs, charts, and layouts using the data that's already in Figured. Build a template once and use it across your client base, with live actuals populating each report automatically. Add your firm's branding, and Auto Analyst even writes the commentary for you.

Change the date once and every view within Figured updates automatically, from the dashboard through to all financial and production reports.
Farmers, accountants, advisors, and banks all work from the same live file, each with their own access level.
Set up a report schedule once at practice level and distribute it automatically across your entire portfolio.
Generate a complete season summary for any crop, with income, costs, and closing inventory pulled together automatically from what's already tracked in Figured.
Produce a market-value view of farm assets and liabilities for bank covenant compliance and seasonal debt reviews β underpinned by live Figured data.
Group multiple farms or entities into a consolidated financial view at no additional subscription cost.

Figured brings together both sides of a mixed farming enterprise, building a single live financial picture that digs into the details.
Production trackers feed livestock movements and crop activity straight into the financial plan, which Figured then allocates by income, cost, and enterprise type. When it comes time for planning, reporting, or just checking in on the business, you can see both the performance of the farm as a whole and what each individual enterprise is contributing.

We think Figured is a great tool for the financial management reporting side of things. It allows the opportunity for us to help clients establish a great structure around their financial reporting system that actually gives them meaningful information out the other end.
I can almost remember to the day when we discovered Figured, and it was like β oh my gosh, this is it. It's just been so nice to get off the spreadsheets, get off the pen and paper, get off the napkins, and actually put some useful tools and information out there that you rely on and have confidence in.
Rather than going back and forth and back and forth and it taking a week to get a final forecast that we can then take to the bank, [on Figured] we can do it all within an hour and have the result then and there.

Farm Reporter includes four categories of reports:
Each report draws from live accounting data synced from Xero or QuickBooks Online, and can be saved within Figured for future reference, shared with anyone who has access to the farm, or exported as a PDF or CSV.
The short version: Farm Reporter is for actuals. Farm Manager is for planning.
Farm Reporter gives farm teams access to real-time financial reporting drawn from their accounting software, including income, expenses, production tracking, and year-end valuations. It's well-suited to farms where the main goal is accurate, current management reporting.
Farm Manager includes everything in Farm Reporter, plus budgeting, cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and variance reporting. It's the right choice when you want to move the relationship beyond reporting β building seasonal plans, modeling different pricing or stocking scenarios, and having more regular conversations about where the business is heading.
For most US accountants building an advisory practice, Farm Manager is where that shift happens. Farm Reporter is a solid starting point for clients not yet ready to engage at that level.
Farm Reporter is a practice-level product, typically used by your accountant. If you're a farmer exploring Farm Reporter, we recommend checking whether your accountant is already on the platform.

Reporting Studio reimagines what a US ag accountant can do with a farm's numbers.
It's Figured's customizable reporting layer, built on top of the live data in your Farm Reporter files. It lets you build custom report layouts with your firm's branding, your choice of KPIs and charts, and AI-generated commentary, then open those layouts across every client in your portfolio from a single setup.
Standard Figured reports handle the financial and production outputs your practice uses every day, like P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, tracker summaries, and year-end statements. Reporting Studio is where client-facing advisory reporting lives: the branded report packs, management summaries, and bank-ready presentations your clients take to their lender or board.
Reporting Studio is available to Farm Reporter users.
Yes. Upgrading a file from Farm Reporter to Farm Manager adds a range of ag-specific planning tools without starting over. Your production trackers, accounting integrations, chart of accounts setup, and historical data all carry across.
Most practices use Farm Reporter as an entry point for clients engaging with Figured for the first time, then move them to Farm Manager once the reporting foundation is in place and they're ready to work at a planning level.
Figured is priced as a monthly subscription per farm file, managed through your practice account. There are two tiers: Farm Reporter for real-time financial reporting, and Farm Manager, which adds budgeting, cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and variance reporting.
As the advisor, you hold the subscription and manage it on behalf of your clients. How you pass that cost on β whether itemized separately or folded into your advisory fees β is a practice decision.
Current pricing is available at figured.com/en-us/pricing.
