Figured Integrations
Forget separate spreadsheets. Figured connects live with MYOB to bring farm-specific budgeting, valuations, and reporting into the financials you already run.
About MYOB

“MYOB does the accounts. For the farm, we’re stuck on spreadsheets.”
MYOB does the accounts well, and most farms end up running livestock numbers, feed budgets, or crop plans in a spreadsheet alongside it. There’s never been a better place for that information to live.
But what if your spreadsheet data and accounts weren’t separate? Across Australia, more farm teams are switching to a platform that connects to MYOB and gives the farm side a proper home, pairing the farm’s numbers with the actuals already sitting in MYOB. The dashboard is always live, and an accurate reflection of what’s happening in the paddock.
Figured syncs your chart of accounts and bank transactions directly from MYOB Business. Reconciled figures flow straight into Figured’s reporting and planning tools, always current with what’s in MYOB.
Livestock movements and crop yields sit on top of your MYOB financials. Every production number ties back to the accounts behind it, in one connected picture.
Record a stock or crop sale in Figured and it pushes through to MYOB automatically. Your MYOB accounts always reflect what’s actually happened on the farm.
Setup
Connecting MYOB and Figured takes minutes. Once linked, your data starts flowing automatically.
Step 1
Authorise the MYOB connection from within your Figured account. You’ll need MYOB Administrator access to complete this.
Step 2
Once connected, transactions and farm financial data flow between Figured and MYOB on a regular sync schedule.
Step 3
Add livestock, cropping, or production tracking so your MYOB data turns into farm-specific reports and valuations.
Figured is an online cloud tool that enables clients to plan their cashflow scenario planning for one to five years into the future. Its ability to look at profitability on the farm and not just focus on cash gives a great understanding about how the business is performing.
I can almost remember to the day when we discovered Figured. It’s just been so nice to get off the spreadsheets, get off the pen and paper, get off the napkins, and actually put some useful tools and information out there that you rely on and have confidence in.
We think Figured is a great tool for the financial management reporting side of things. It allows the opportunity for us to help clients establish a great structure around their financial reporting system that actually gives them meaningful information out the other end.
Yes. Where a client runs multiple farming operations under one MYOB file, Figured’s Multi-Farm feature uses MYOB’s jobs to separate those operations within a single Figured file. Each farm gets its own production tracking and reporting, viewable individually or consolidated across the group.
Where separate MYOB files each need their own Figured farm, those can be grouped for consolidated reporting using Multi-Entity instead.
Each production tracker needs its own set of accounts in MYOB with the correct account types, and the exact accounts depend on what you’re tracking.
For example, livestock trackers need a non-cash movement account, a livestock on-hand account, and a revaluation reserve account for each stock type; cropping trackers need the same setup minus the revaluation reserve.
If a client’s MYOB file doesn’t already have this structure, it’s worth setting these accounts up before connecting Figured, so the trackers can map correctly from the start.
The first sync pulls across your MYOB file’s full history, so it takes longer than every sync after it. Once that finishes, Figured settles into its normal speed of syncing automatically every few hours. If you’re onboarding a file with several years of history, allow time for it to complete before setting up trackers or the chart of accounts.
Figured syncs with MYOB automatically through a secure API, but you can trigger an immediate sync any time within the Figured app. You can also view your connections from the same menu to check how long a sync has been running. This is useful straight after reconciling transactions or changing your chart of accounts.
No. Once a Figured farm is connected to a MYOB file, it can’t be moved to a different one. If the wrong file gets connected, the fix is to create a new Figured farm and connect that to the correct file.
