Figured Integrations
Record it once, see it live. Figured brings livestock sales and purchases updated in Trev straight into your Livestock Tracker. Finally, your financial and farm numbers live together, updated automatically.
About Trev
Trev is one of New Zealand’s most popular on-farm reporting tools, built to capture land, livestock, feed, and compliance data in less than 10 minutes a week.
For day-to-day farm reporting, it plays a vital role on the farm. Figured then takes that data and adds the financial layer on top, putting your live Xero actuals and synced livestock events in one place.

“We record everything in Trev. But by the time it hits the books, we have to enter it a second time.”
Trev was built on the premise that farm reporting shouldn’t take hours each week. Whenever there’s a sale, death, or transfer between mobs, it takes only seconds to log, and the record stays accurate all season.
But after that? There’s a gap. Financial reporting through the likes of Xero runs on a different clock, so what’s true in Trev can take weeks before it becomes true in the accounts too — and it has to be manually re-typed to get it there in the first place.
Livestock events recorded in Trev, including sales, purchases, ageing, deaths, and transfers, sync straight into Figured’s Livestock Tracker. Nothing needs re-entering by hand.
Choose zero-touch Auto-Sync for events to flow through instantly, or Manual sync to review each one before it lands in your tracker. Either way, you stay in control of what reaches Figured.
Enter dollar values in Trev and they carry through to your Figured tracker, ready to post to Xero for reconciliation. Farm and financial records stay in step.
Setup
Connecting Trev and Figured takes minutes. Once linked, your livestock data starts flowing automatically.
Step 1
Authorise the connection from Trev’s Integrations menu. You’ll need Trev Pro, and a Figured farm already connected to Xero.
Step 2
Choose Auto-Sync for instant updates, or Manual to review each livestock event before it reaches your tracker.
Step 3
Confirm values against each livestock event as they arrive, then post sales and purchases through to Xero.

View the Full GuideNow with Figured, it has absolutely shifted our whole outlook on the business. I just can’t wait to be using the reports to analyse and approve decisions — we’ve never had time to do that before, we’ve been too busy just getting the information.
I didn’t have a lot of confidence in my spreadsheet and my formulas. Whereas with Figured, I know they’re all over that. It gives me a lot more confidence to know that the actual figures being pulled through are correct — and they’re getting pulled through in real time.
If you’re not measuring what you’re doing, you can’t manage it. And Figured has certainly given us a greater ability to manage things, because we are measuring so much more.
Once connected, Trev sends across your opening livestock numbers as at the sync-from date, along with every livestock event recorded from that date onward. That includes natural increase, purchases, sales, culls, deaths, pet food, missing and found stock, leases in and out, and transfers and class changes in and out.
That data flows into a dedicated livestock tracker in Figured. Because Trev is the source of truth for these movements, the tracker is read-only on the Figured side — it reflects what’s been recorded in Trev rather than something you re-enter or adjust manually. The result is one set of livestock numbers behind both your farm reporting and your financial reporting, rather than two records that can drift apart over time.
Yes. The Figured integration sits under Trev’s industry integrations feature, which is included in the Pro tier. Trev’s Essential tier includes basic milk data integration, but the broader financial and industry integrations — including Figured — are a Pro-level feature.
If you’re on Trev’s Notebook or Essential plan and want to connect to Figured, you’ll need to upgrade to Pro first.
Yes. The Trev integration brings your livestock data into Figured, but Figured itself runs on top of your accounting software — Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online. Trev doesn’t replace that connection; it sits alongside it, feeding livestock movements into the Livestock Tracker while your financial transactions continue to sync from your accounting software as normal.
In practice, this means the full picture only comes together once both connections are in place.
Once the integration is connected, the Livestock Tracker receiving Trev’s data becomes read-only in Figured. Trev is treated as the single source of truth for those movements, so the tracker simply reflects what’s recorded there. That’s what removes double entry: there’s only ever one set of numbers to maintain.
If a number in Trev needs correcting, the fix happens in Trev and flows through to Figured automatically.
Figured is SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 compliant, independently assessed by A-LIGN against the security, availability, and confidentiality trust principles. That covers how Figured handles and protects data generally, including data received through integrations like Trev.
Trev states that protecting farm data is central to its approach and uses secure SSL encryption across the platform. Between the two platforms, the same kind of secure, encrypted connection used for Figured’s other integrations (like Xero) applies to the Trev connection as well.
