Farm Manager connects farm plans to live production and financial data, so your farm team can build better budgets, respond to change, and make more confident decisions all season long.
The World’s Largest Farm Financial Management Platform
There’s a reason thousands of agri-accounting firms across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA run their farming clients through Figured. More than 35,000 farms trust the platform — and the advisers who use it every day know exactly why.
“Reporting is one thing, but we can’t get the data fast enough for proactive advisory conversations.”
Most advisory relationships in Australian farming are built around the compliance calendar. It’s valuable work, but farming doesn’t work to the tax season. Decisions come up throughout the year, and by the time the next scheduled touchpoint arrives, the window might have passed.
But there’s a gap between when live farm numbers are needed for a decision, and when the adviser can get them together. General accounting software just wasn’t designed to handle the volatility of agriculture, so farmers make decisions alone — with data that’s months out of date.

Custom Advisory Reporting
Figured’s advanced custom report builder, Reporting Studio, gives agri-advisers full control over how farm performance is presented. Build a branded layout once at firm level, open it across every client with live data populated, and let Auto Analyst write the commentary for you.
It’s never been easier to produce detailed, highly visual advisory reports, making this service scalable across your entire client base — reaching farmers who have never had this service from you before.

Change the date once and every view within Figured updates automatically, from the dashboard to the Planning Grid, plus all reports.
AgriWebb-fed stock movements keep every class reconciled through the season, with trading statements generated directly in Figured.
Track profit per hectare, interest cover, and cash position live against your plan.
Set expenses as a percentage of income, per hectare, or per stock unit, and Figured updates your forecasts automatically as production changes.
Run consolidated reports across multiple enterprises, entities, and complex farm ownership structures from one account.
Access every client farm from a single practice login, with no switching between accounts across your portfolio.
Build financial plans around livestock movements, trading decisions, and seasonal income, connected to your clients’ actuals through AgriWebb and Trev. Stock reconciliation stays current through the season, so when you need an answer before week’s end, the picture is current.

Farm Manager gives Australian farm teams crop-level gross margin reporting by crop type and season, plus seasonal cashflow planning from sowing to sale. The crop gross margin report breaks performance down per hectare, so rotation decisions rest on what each crop actually returned rather than what the farm expected it to return.

Many accounting and advisory clients aren’t farming operations — some are commercial entities alongside a farm, or completely separate non-farm businesses in their own right.
Commercial Manager extends Figured’s capability to all of your non-farming entities, giving your practice one platform for every client relationship.

The bank really appreciates the clear transparency around cash reporting and being proactive in decisions, and we’ve got some great strong feedback from the bank around the reports they receive [from Figured].
We’re all spending money to try to make money, and that is definitely where Xero and Figured come in as a very integral tool for our business — so that we are constantly looking forward, not backwards.
With the cashflow budgeting feature for our business, we’ve got the ability to plan ahead and it gives the bank and [our accountant] confidence in us that we can continue to grow and expand as a business.

The short version: Farm Reporter is for actuals. Farm Manager is for planning.
Farm Reporter gives farm teams access to real-time financial reporting drawn from their accounting software, including income, expenses, production tracking, and EOFY valuations. It’s well-suited to farms where the main goal is accurate, current compliance reporting.
Farm Manager includes everything in Farm Reporter, plus live budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and variance reporting. It’s the right choice when you want to move the relationship beyond compliance — building seasonal plans, modelling different pricing or stocking scenarios, and having more regular conversations about where the business is heading.
For most Australian accountants building an advisory practice, Farm Manager is where that shift happens. Farm Reporter is a solid starting point for clients not yet ready to engage at that level.
For livestock clients, Farm Manager’s trackers record movements throughout the season (births, deaths, purchases, ageing, and sales) via AgriWebb, generating EOFY livestock trading statements directly from that data. Because the reconciliation runs all year, advisers spend far less time assembling the year-end picture, whatever valuation method they apply.
Only if you choose to. Farm Manager gives you full control over who sees your data — including whether to invite your bank or lender in as a read-only user.
For farmers, this means your bank can see your current position and forecasts without you having to prepare and send a report manually each time. For advisers, it means the bank is working from the same numbers you are, which typically makes bank conversations more straightforward.
The adviser manages who has access and can remove it at any time.
For most organisations, getting started is relatively quick. Connecting your accounting software and creating the farm in Figured takes minutes, and our onboarding and Customer Success team can help you get your trackers configured correctly from there.
A clean, well-organised file can be producing useful reports the same day. If your file needs a bit of tidying up first, our team will help you get there.
No. Farm Manager works alongside Xero — and it requires Xero, QuickBooks Online, or MYOB as the underlying accounting platform.
Xero and MYOB handle the core accounting work, like invoices, bills, bank reconciliation, and BAS. Farm Manager pulls that financial data in and adds the agri layer on top: production tracking, seasonal planning, scenario modelling, and Reporting Studio. They work together.
If you’re using Xero, QuickBooks Online, or MYOB and want to add farm financial management and advisory capability, Farm Manager connects directly to your existing account.
