The World’s Largest Farm Financial Management Platform

There’s a reason thousands of agri-accounting firms across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA run their farming clients through Figured. More than 35,000 farms trust the platform, and the advisers who use it every day know exactly why.

Heard This Before?

β€œThe farm is in Figured, but we’re stuck with a spreadsheet for the trust that owns the land.”

Splitting land ownership from the trading operation is ordinary structure for a lot of Australian farms. One side holds the land and takes lease income, the other runs the farm and pays the rent. Both entities need to know their numbers, but usually only one of them is on Figured.

Whenever someone wants to check on the performance of the trust, or the group as a whole, the position has to be rebuilt by hand. What would take minutes in Figured for the farm side takes an entire afternoon for the trust.

Financial Manager changes that.

If it’s one connected group, there should be one connected picture.

Features

The Group Financial Reporting Tool You’ve Been Looking For

Planning & Reporting

A Full Financial Plan, Sized to the Entity

Actuals for the non-trading entity flow in from Xero or MYOB, and you can plan against them in the same Planning Grid your farm files use. Forecast lease income, rates, insurance, and interest across the year, with the P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet connected in one view.
  • Snapshots track performance against the agreed annual plan.
  • Invite the trustees, the adviser, or the bank into the same file.
  • A dashboard on every file shows the closing cash position.

Group Reporting

One Report Across Every Entity in the Structure

Figured Multi-Entity groups the trust and the farming operation together for consolidated reporting, at no extra cost. Inter-entity offsets clear the rent and lease income moving between them, and the group profit and loss reflects what the structure earned.
  • Consolidated profit and loss, cashflow, and variance reports.
  • Group any number of Farm Manager and Financial Manager files.
  • An existing Multi-Farm can sit inside a Multi-Entity group.

Questions

Financial Manager β€” FAQ

Farm Manager is Figured’s complete farm financial management platform. It carries production trackers for livestock and cropping, livestock reconciliation, AI-powered custom reporting, and the complete budgeting and forecasting toolkit.

Financial Manager covers planning, forecasting, and reporting for entities with no production to track. Therefore it has no production trackers, because a land-owning trust has no use for them.

One multi-entity group would typically require both Farm Manager and Financial Manager to fully report on both sides of the arrangement. Figured also offers Commercial Manager, the planning and reporting platform dedicated to other genuinely commercial non-farm entities β€” which can also connect back to your wider group for consolidated reporting.

Financial Manager connects through Figured Multi-Entity. Each entity keeps its own Figured file and its own accounting file, and Figured groups them to report across the whole structure.

The farming entity stays on Farm Manager with production tracking and full planning. The non-trading entity sits on Financial Manager. The group then reports across both, and each file keeps its own planning and reporting underneath.

No. Multi-Entity is a reporting group with no subscription attached, so there’s no charge for creating one or running reports out of it. You pay for the individual entity subscriptions inside the group.

Financial Manager files come through a Figured practice account. If you’re a farmer, talk to your accountant. If you’re an accountant or adviser setting one up for the first time, get in touch and we’ll walk you through it.

Once the file exists, you can give the rest of the farming team access with the right permissions.
