The World’s Largest Farm Financial Management Platform

There’s a reason thousands of agri-accounting practices across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA run their farming clients through Figured. More than 35,000 farms trust the platform, and the accountants who use it every day know exactly why.

When Your Farming Clients Need You, Figured Is There

Agricultural AI, Built Into the Work

Figured’s AI is like an extra pair of hands on your team, writing report commentary, reconciling data into the ledger, and surfacing performance trends, with more planning agents in development. This is agricultural AI built on over a decade of foundational data.

Compliance That’s Done Before EOFY

Integrated actuals and production data flow in throughout the season, coded into a structure that reflects how farming works. In Figured, the whole agri compliance workflow is built in to the product for improved efficiency.

One Platform for Every Agri Service

Compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting … all on the same connected data. Adding a service to a client relationship costs no new system and no new setup.

The Pathway to Scaling Advisory

Practice-wide report templates, automatic commentary, and live client data cut the preparation time behind every advisory conversation. The same team can carry advisory across the whole book, cutting time to value and reaching farmers whose files never justified the hours before.

Heard This Before?

“We want to do more advisory work, but the tools don’t support it at the scale we need.”

Australian agri accounting practices are under pressure. Margins are being squeezed, it’s hard to find the right talent, and beneath it all AI is coming for the compliance work. Most principals already know that the answer runs through scalable advisory, but then EOFY arrives, the firm hits capacity, and it’s kicked to next year.

When it feels like none of the tools adequately support agri advisory services, transformation can seem like too big a project to even start, let alone finish. But if you already do the compliance side well, advisory isn’t as much of a step forwards as you might realise.

The practices navigating today’s pressures best are growing their year-round revenue, building resilience to AI trends, and delivering better advisory to more clients — by using a platform that puts all of their work in one live, shared picture.

That platform is Figured.

Budgeting & Forecasting

A Financial Plan that Moves with the Season

Figured’s Planning Grid is where you build farm budgets in a structure that reflects how the operation runs.

Actuals arrive automatically from both the accounting side and Figured’s production and inventory trackers, so whenever you open the plan before a client meeting, you’ll know the data is current. Then when conditions shift mid-season, reforecast in minutes.

Everyone works from the same live data, helping you deliver better, faster advice at scale.

Reporting Studio

Advanced Custom Reports for Every Client

Take a tailored custom report into every client conversation — without the manual effort. Create your templates at the organisation level once, with full company branding, drag-and-drop visualisations, and customisable formulas, then open them across every client with the live data already in place.

Saving even more time, Auto Analyst reads the numbers and writes the commentary for you, so you can provide more detail to more clients than ever before.

Tax & Compliance

Ready When EOFY Arrives

Figured sits on top of your clients’ accounting software, mapping live actuals into a financial structure built for agriculture. BAS becomes a natural checkpoint to reforecast rather than just a lodgement deadline, with the numbers behind it already reconciled by the time it’s due.

Production Management

On-Farm Activity, Connected to the Financial Plan

Figured’s production trackers and live integrations feed operational data straight into each client’s financial plan. Livestock movements arrive directly from AgriWebb and crop activity tracks down to field and crop type level through Crop Tracker.

Open any client file mid-season and you’re working with a current picture on both the financial and production sides.

Supporting Agri Accounting Across Farming Operations

A Financial Plan that Moves with the Mob

AgriWebb captures every movement in the field — births, deaths, sales, ageing, purchases, transfers — and feeds it straight into Figured’s Livestock Tracker, which rolls closing stock forward automatically each year so expected-vs-actual sits side by side all season. The same live data drives forward planning, so you can model scenarios for a saleyards decision or a season change the same day it comes up.

Crop-Level Clarity, All Season Long

Figured is the platform that understands crop farming. Track wheat, barley, canola, and other crops by field and crop type through the Crop Tracker, hold inventory and harvest income through to sale, and build budgets at the individual crop level — so gross margins are visible where the decisions get made.

Extend Figured to Your Commercial Clients

For accountants serving not only farming operations, but non-farm commercial entities too, Figured’s Commercial Manager extends the same planning, forecasting, and reporting workflow to the rest of your portfolio.

Consolidated Group Reporting for Complex Structures

For any situation where your clients are running more than one farm, Figured Multi-Farm splits a single accounting file into separate farms in Figured, using the tracking categories already set up in the accounting software. That way, each farm gets its own trackers, budgets, forecasts, and reports, while allowing you to consolidate the whole group together.

Where a client group spans several accounting files, Multi-Entity brings those farms together into a single reporting group, with consolidated P&L, cashflow, and variance reports, and internal trading between entities netted off.

If it’s one client, it should be one relationship, with group planning that doesn’t add to your workload.

The bank really appreciates the clear transparency around cash reporting and being proactive in decisions, and we’ve got some great strong feedback from the bank around the reports they receive [from Figured].

We think Figured is a great tool for the financial management reporting side of things. It allows the opportunity for us to help clients establish a great structure around their financial reporting system that actually gives them meaningful information out the other end.

We’re all spending money to try to make money, and that is definitely where Xero and Figured come in as a very integral tool for our business — so that we are constantly looking forward, not backwards.

Questions

Figured for Agri Accountants — FAQ

No. Figured works alongside your clients’ existing accounting software. Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks Online stay as the transaction record and general ledger. Figured pulls actuals automatically and adds what general-purpose accounting software doesn’t have: seasonal planning, production tracking, livestock valuations, and agri-specific reporting.

Closing values and journal entries post back into the accounting software, so both systems stay in sync. Most Australian agri practices run the two side by side.

Yes, both run on the same data and Figured is built to handle the full book of agri accounting services.

On the compliance side, Figured produces the outputs a client’s tax return relies on, and keeps it up to date all year. That means less of a spreadsheet scramble come EOFY, as most of the reconciliation work will have already been done.

As for advisory, because Figured handles budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling in the same platform, once you have the compliance setup right, advisory is a straightforward next step.

Yes, though the right setup depends on how the operation is structured in the accounting software.

Where multiple farms or enterprises sit under a single Xero or MYOB account, Figured’s Multi-Farm feature uses the accounting software’s tracking categories to separate those enterprises within one Figured file. Each gets its own trackers, planning, and reporting, with a consolidated view across all of them.

Where each entity holds its own account, those are set up as separate Figured farms, and Multi-Entity groups them for consolidated financial reporting across the group.

The biggest factor for complex structures is how the accounting software is set up before Figured connects. The cleaner the chart of accounts and entity structure, the more accurately Figured reflects how the farming group operates.

The fastest way to get started is to book a live demo with our Partner Success team. Our experts will talk to you about your business, what you do now, and where you want to go, and show you how Figured can support that journey.

Get in Touch

We generally recommend that practices start small, defining a group of around five clients with someone inside the practice to champion the change. That lets you get a feel for how Figured can integrate naturally into your workflows without it being a huge project, and then you can scale up from there.

At any point, if you’d rather try it yourself first for free, simply create a demo farm on Figured and play with the tools and trackers.

Support doesn’t end at onboarding, either. Our Customer Success team is available to talk to when you have questions, and our Help Centre is full of useful articles on setup, integrations, and product information.

Figured is priced as a monthly subscription per farm file, managed through your practice account. There are two farm tiers: Farm Reporter for real-time financial and production reporting, and Farm Manager, which adds budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and variance reporting to support those year-round advisory conversations.

Commercial Manager covers the non-farming entities in a client group.

As the accountant, you would generally hold the subscription and manage it on behalf of your clients. How you pass that cost on, whether itemised separately or folded into your fees, is a practice decision.
