One Platform for Your Whole Farming Team

You, family members, trustees, your accountant, the bank … in Figured, everyone has access to view the same live data. That means less time catching people up, and more time spent on discussions that matter.

Heard This Before?

“I make decisions alone because my accountant only has last year’s numbers when I need today’s.”

Most Australian farm businesses are built around an annual accounting relationship. The accountant produces the EOFY work, and a clear view of what happened. It’s accurate, but it’s looking in the rear-view mirror.

But farm decisions don’t wait for EOFY. Decisions arrive at any time, and when they do, most farmers are stuck with a picture that’s months out of date. By the time the numbers are assembled, the opportunity has either passed, or the farmer had to make their decisions alone.

A growing number of farming teams are working differently. They’re using a platform that keeps the books up to date all year, which can forecast the season ahead, model new scenarios in minutes, and let agri-aware AI cut more of the manual work. When the big decisions arrive, they’re prepared.

That platform is Figured.

Built for the Way Australian Farming Works

Production Management

On-Farm Activity, Connected to Your Finances

In Figured, production data connects directly to your finances. Track livestock movements as they happen out in the field, plus crop costs per field and crop type, and watch them populate the financial plan live. This way, the numbers you're looking at reflect what's happening on the farm right now.

That's the foundation everything else in Figured builds on. When you or your accountant opens the file to build a plan or work through a decision, you're starting from data that can make a difference in the moment.

Budgeting & Forecasting

A Financial Plan that Moves with Your Season

Figured builds a seasonal financial plan connecting your cash position, production targets, and capital commitments in one view. As conditions shift through the season, your team can reforecast without rebuilding from scratch, keeping the plan relevant all year.

When a major decision comes up, you and your accountant can model the options against your actual position, seeing what each change could mean before you commit.

Succession Planning

Model the Path Forwards for the Next Generation

Different succession and ownership pathways can be laid out in Figured as detailed financial projections, with ownership structures, debt positions, and enterprise changes mapped year by year. The platform supports as many scenarios as the decision calls for, built from your live farm data.

Reporting

Generate Farm Reports that Write Themselves

When it’s time to refinance, report to the trust or governance board, or fetch this year’s results for a planning conversation, Figured gives you and your accountant fast, custom reports drawn from live farm data.

Create bank packs instantly straight from your production trackers, or customise a highly visual template and reproduce it as many times as you like — with the data updating itself. Then, Auto Analyst uses smart AI to add the commentary for you, saving you time writing it all up yourself.

Improving the Business of Australian Farming Operations

Livestock Finances that Cut the Office Work

Figured builds financial plans connecting stock movements, trading decisions, and seasonal income to your actual cash position, using a grid-style interface built for how sheep, beef, and mixed livestock farming works.

For farmers who use AgriWebb, Figured also integrates with the app so that you can capture every movement in the field on your phone, and feed it straight through to your Livestock Tracker.

All together, that means more time spent farming, and less stuck in the office assembling data.

Crop-Level Margins, Tracked Through the Season

Figured breaks income and costs down to crop type and season on a per-hectare basis, grounding rotation decisions in what each crop actually returned. That same view builds into cashflow planning from sowing through to sale, tracking how the season develops at each stage.

The Inventory Tracker picks up from there, with harvested crops and on-hand inputs in a single view, valued at cost. EOFY valuations follow from records you’ve been keeping all along.

One Connected Plan, Split by Enterprise

Figured brings together both sides of a mixed farming enterprise, building a single live financial picture that digs into the details.

Production trackers feed livestock movements and crop activity straight into the financial plan, which Figured then allocates by income, cost, and enterprise type. When it comes time for planning, reporting, or just checking in on the business, you can see both the performance of the farm as a whole and what each individual enterprise is contributing.

If you’re not measuring what you’re doing, you can’t manage it. And Figured has certainly given us a greater ability to manage things, because we are measuring so much more.

Now with Figured, it has absolutely shifted our whole outlook on the business. I just can’t wait to be using the reports to analyse and approve decisions — we’ve never had time to do that before, we’ve been too busy just getting the information.

The beauty of Figured is that it helps you look forward. It gives you a picture, and it might be six to 12 months down the road of where you’re going. If you don’t like that picture, you’ve got that time to change. It’s just better than looking back at last year’s numbers when it’s a bit late to make a change.

Questions

Figured for Australian Farmers — FAQ

Figured connects to Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks Online. If your farm accounting runs through any of those three, you can use Figured on top of it.

If you’re on an alternative accounting system, or using spreadsheets or paper-based records, you’d need to migrate to one of the supported systems first. While migrating to a modern platform can seem daunting, most farms never go back — there’s a reason they’re so popular.

It may help to talk to a Figured-enabled accountant about what you need to do next to upgrade your accounting system, then get onto Figured.

Figured is a complete farm financial management platform that works alongside your accounting software. Connect it to Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online, and Figured adds the farm-specific layer on top: production tracking, seasonal planning, livestock and crop records, and financial reporting built around how agricultural businesses work.

The bookkeeping itself stays in Xero or your equivalent. Whether those records are kept by a farm bookkeeper, your accountant, or you directly, Figured sees that data and combines it with your production records to give you a financial picture that goes well beyond what accounting software provides on its own.

Your job is keeping the underlying data current — reconciling bank transactions in Xero and recording farm movements as they happen. The more current that is, the more useful Figured is for both of you.

Your accountant’s job is to work with that data inside Figured. They configure your farm’s trackers, manage the planning and reporting, and handle the EOFY financial work. If they also offer advisory, they can help you plan ahead too — using Figured’s budgeting and scenario modelling tools.

When both sides have done their part, the conversation between you shifts from what happened last year, to what’s going on right now and, more importantly, what might happen next.

Figured is a monthly subscription, and the cost depends on which product tier your accountant sets you up on — Farm Reporter for reporting, or Farm Manager if you want planning and forecasting on top of that.

Most farmers don’t manage the subscription directly. Your accountant handles the setup, and depending on how they work, they’ll either pass the cost on to you separately or fold it into your advisory fees. The best person to ask is your accountant — they can tell you exactly what applies to your farm before you commit to anything.

If you want to see current pricing for your market, it’s available on our pricing page.

The best place to get started with Figured as a farmer is checking whether your accountant or adviser is already on the platform. While you can use Figured yourself, we recommend it as a system that benefits the full farming team.

Getting your production trackers configured correctly, connecting to your accounting software, and making sure the opening position is right all benefit from someone who knows the platform well. Trying to do it without an adviser tends to mean a slower start and more things to unpick later.

Once you’re set up, though, you have your own access to the platform and can see your financial and production data at any time. The goal is for both you and your accountant to have access to the same live data, which you can view at the same time.
